Backing Up Your Wallet

When your wallet is created, you’ll be given 12 secret words and a Backup. You can also find both by clicking on the “settings” icon in the top right corner of your wallet.

They’re the only way to recover your Bitcoin if your phone is lost, broken, or replaced.

Keep them private, write them down, and store them somewhere safe.

No one—not Evento, not the wallet provider, not any company—can restore your wallet without those words. So keep them safe! That’s what real ownership means.
